Kris Vallotton - Bob Jones Story & Death of Sin Nature.

Kris Vallotton

Bob Jones encounter. Two angels flying around last night. You pick me up at 9am. Kris arrives at
8:45am and Bib says "you late." Larry Randolph comes out at 9:30am with shirt buttoned wrong,
hair all out of whack. Bob says, you didn't sleep! You had a demon last night. Larry says,"How
did you know?!" The demon came to my room and I said, "you are in the wrong room, Larry is
next door."

Give me your number, if you are ever in trouble I will call you! Bob calls, "I told you I would call
when you were in trouble! You having nightmares. A demon is messing with you. You will be
okay, he tells Kris his nightmare. He tells him that he was praying in the heavenlies with saints of
old and help is coming." The next day nightmares again. He went to the living room and went to
sleep. He woke up to a 7 foot Native American with black tights, black slicked back hair, no shirt
and steely eyes standing near him. When Kris thought is this maybe an angel, the guy
disappeared. Kris calls Bob. Bob says, "did an angel visit? Was he an Indian wearing wrestling
tights with black slicked back hair, and in a bad mood?" Yes. "Oh, that was Michael, he is always
in a bad mood."

The first Adam fell by doing to be. We were created to be human BE ings. After God speaks to
Jesus, "this is my son whom I am well pleased!" Jesus went Into the wilderness. Satan tempted
Jesus to take the rocks and turn them to bread. Satan tempted Jesus to do something to show
his deity and Jesus replied with "I am!" Jesus rebuked Satan be being.

5 times Paul exhorts" to strive and labor". You were born to work but identified by your creation
(being). How did Adam and Eve fall? By working to get acceptance.

There's a river that runs through your soul. If you don't paddle you end up at Gods house. Adam
and Eve sinned without a sin nature. And so can you.

8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all
unrighteousness.
10 If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. - 1 John 1:8-10
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin,
we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. - 1 John 2:1

Jesus said, "judge fruit."
He is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the sins of the whole world. -
1 John 2:2
Before you became a Christian you needed a savior. Now you need an attorney. You didn't have
to sin, you chose to.
4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness.
5 You know that he appeared in order to take away sins, and in him there is no sin.
6 No one who abides in him keeps on sinning; no one who keeps on sinning has either seen him
or known him.
7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is
righteous.
8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the
beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God's seed abides in him, and he cannot
keep on sinning because he has been born of God.
10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil:
whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his
brother. - 1 John 3:4-10

It is not your nature to sin.

The voice of conscience weakens as one repeats the same sin. Once you get off the road of
following Jesus and pursue a sinful path you are no longer following Jesus. When your
conscience voice is muffled down to a whisper is when people twist Scripture to justify sin.
A hyper grace follower who has been through three years of bssm. Explained his salvation is
secure. Kris responds with, if I sinned while in marriage wouldn't it be best to tell my wife and ask
for forgiveness. I got married to have relationship not to get her estate. When I hurt the
relationship through sin, I need to restore it by confessing and stopping the sin. Jesus said, "stop
worshipping and get right"

Communion is a symbolic act. Putting up stones of remembrance is a symbolic act. Baptism is a
a prophetic act. Dipping in water 7 times is a prophetic act. Going under water is dying with
Christ. Coming out of water you receive your crown. Infers: Baptism is necessary for salvation?
You are not a sinner. You are a sainter!

For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the
righteousness of God. - 2 Corinthians 5:21

Condemnation tries to tie your sin to your identity.
Conviction says, that's not who you are! Stop it! Stop behaving below your identity. You are a son
of the King. When you are convicted by the Holy Spirit or by your faithful friends, it hurts in a
good way.

The first step out of sin is knowing your identity, and then the sin stops.

You have same sex attraction or attracted to children or .... Doesn't create your identity. You are
not your attraction. If you say I am my attraction. You don't say to a pedophile it's okay because
your attraction justifies it. Am I a thief because I am attracted to money? Jesus was tempted in
every way but was without sin. Temptations have mutated. There used to be 10 basic
temptations and now there are thousands. You can resist temptation or by default you are
embracing it.

Do you understand that resisting temptation is what builds your character? The day you allow
temptation is the day integrity is ruined. Once one door is knocked down, temptation begins
knocking on all your doors.

For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who
in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. - Hebrews 4:15

First it's sexual sin, then lying, then greed... Sinners who say "I am a Christian." Kris responds, I
don't know, that's between you and Jesus. I do know you are not following Jesus.

There's a difference between a flaw and a sin. You are a flawless person.
